Take a Screen Video
If you’re running into issues, it’s very helpful for us to see what errors are showing up behind the scenes. The easiest way to share this is by recording your screen with the console open so we can review the errors together.
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Console
Go to the page where you’re having trouble signing in.
Open the Developer Tools / Console:
Chrome / Edge: Press
Ctrl
+Shift
+J
(Windows) orCommand
+Option
+J
(Mac).Firefox: Press
Ctrl
+Shift
+K
(Windows) orCommand
+Option
+K
(Mac).Safari: First enable Developer Tools (Safari > Preferences > Advanced > check “Show Develop menu in menu bar”). Then open the console with
Command
+Option
+C
.
You should now see a panel at the bottom or side of your browser with messages and errors.
Step 2: Start a Screen Recording
On Mac:
Press
Shift
+Command
+5
.Choose Record Entire Screen.
Click Record.
On Windows:
Press
Windows
+G
to open the Xbox Game Bar.Click the Record button (or press
Windows
+Alt
+R
).
On Linux: Use a built-in tool like GNOME Screenshot / Screen Recorder or an app like OBS Studio.
Make sure the console is visible while you attempt to sign in.
Step 3: Reproduce the Issue
With recording running, try signing in again.
Leave the console open so the errors appear in the video.
Step 4: Stop & Share the Recording
Stop recording using the same shortcut or control you used to start it.
Save the video file and share it with us by emailing us at founders@stanza.co (upload or attach to your support ticket/email).
